What if my recipient does not redeem their gift?

If your eCard recipient has not redeemed their gift within 1 year*, we're here to help! Contact our expert Happiness Squad at support@sugarwish.com with your order number, and we'll be happy to provide Sugarwish credit (processing fees may apply) or arrange for the gift to be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation on your behalf. 

*eCards over 1 year old are ineligible for Sugarwish credit, but may still be donated at any time. 


For Corporate Accounts: 

You can now receive credit for your unredeemed Sugarwish eCards directly from your Happiness Dashboard!

To cancel an unredeemed eCard, start by navigating to the "My Orders" section of your Happiness Dashboard.
  1. Locate the unredeemed eCard you'd like to cancel. These will show as "Sent" in the status column.
  2. Click the three dots in the "Actions" column next to the eCard's status.
You'll have three options from here:
  1. Resend Options: Resend the eCard to your recipient or copy a direct link to the eCard.
  2. Change Expiration Date: Extend the expiration date to give your recipient a final chance to redeem the gift, and receive a credit for 90% of the gift's value once the eCard expires.*
  3. Cancel eCard: Cancel the eCard immediately and receive a credit for 90% of the gift's value.*

*Credits are typically applied to your account by the next business day. You'll receive an email notification once the credit has been processed. eCards over 1 year old are ineligible for Sugarwish credit.
